Women are constantly battling with what to wear, how to style their hair, and mostly, how to become physically fit by losing weight or dieting.
Some don’t believe on a spiritual level that they measure up. Why, because no one has affirmed to them or helped them recognize their full potential as a woman.
Real beauty isn’t found on the outside, its internal, its spiritual and its an unfading beauty that can only come from God.
Compelled to keep up or to compete with other women, most women don’t recognize the effect putting so much emphasis on their appearance has on their health, relationships and spirituality.
There’s more to this story than meets the eye.
Letting your appearance go can sometimes be a tell-tale sign that you feel bad about yourself, however, trying desperately to keep up appearances could signal just as much about how you feel which could be anxious or depressed.
When striving for beauty women should focus more on what they wear spiritually than physically:
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (1 Peter 3:3,4)
Women must learn contentment and have faith believing that the amazing things God says about them are true.
They also shouldn’t believe they need to get their life straightened out before they can accept God’s forgiveness and grace.
Sometimes women condemn themselves with negative self-talk which becomes their truth and controls their actions.
Contentment is understanding that it’s okay to do nice things for yourself, but start by paying attention to your spiritual needs.
Sadly most women today believe they need a man to feel complete not recognizing what a real man desires most in a woman: Spirituality.
All mature men understand that good women are scarce and that strong women put God first in their life through wisdom and grace.
This is very attractive to men. This rarity makes a man value her even more.
No woman will ever measure up to what society and the devil says the idea woman is.
It’s easy for women to fall into the perfectionist trap.
Women should accept themselves for who they are and allow God to transform them from the inside out.
Then they will grow more into the likeness of God exposing their natural and spiritual beauty.
